Special General Meeting
Notice is hereby given that a special general meeting will be held at the HOBMRFC Clubrooms on Monday 30 March 2026 at 6:30pm.
The purpose of this Special General Meeting is:
1. To consider, and if thought fit, pass a special resolution adopting a new Constitution of the Society to comply with the requirements of the Incorporated Societies Act 2022.
2. To authorise the committee to:
- Make any minor or technical amendments required by the Registrar of Incorporated Societies.
- Lodge the new Constitution with the companies office
- Take all necessary steps to give effect to the adoption of the new Constitution
Members are encouraged to review the document prior to the meeting. Copies of the current and the new proposed Constitution are attached.
Voting will be conducted in accordance with the current constitution.
The Resolution requires special majority of members as defined in the current constitution and Incorporated Societies Act 2022.
