The countdown is on!

The countdown is on and it’s only a few days now before the rugby season kicks off.  We have had a busy and exciting preseason starting with successful games for both the Colts and Senior squads against Poneke, coming home from Taupo as Spillane champions and the Colts winning their preseason game in Feilding.  The preseason campaign was finished off with the Seniors working hard during their weekend to Ngawi, and the 85’s and Pressies are raring to go on Saturday.

This Saturday all our teams, except the Presidents, will be playing against Wellington out at Hataitai and Kilbirnie Park.  The Presidents are playing Wainuiomata out our Porirua Park in one of their festival days.

1pm Colts – Hataitai Park 1

1:30pm Presidents – Porirua Park 4

2:45pm U85’s – Kilbirnie Park 2

2:45pm Premiers – Hataitai Park 1

Our clubrooms will not be open on Saturday but the following week on the 13th, when all our teams are playing closer to home, we will be open from 4:30pm and will have the Hurricanes/Chiefs game showing at 7pm. We have some events planned in the clubrooms this year, which we will keep you updated about, but your first ‘save the date’ is Old Timers Day on May 4th.

We hope you will be able to come out this season to support the Eagles, we are looking forward to catching up with our supporters at the games or in the clubrooms.
