Awesome news for a big 2019 season
HOBM are pleased to announce the extended coaching team for the 2019 season. Kent Harris returns to Head Coach the Premier team. He will be assisted with the help of Dan Vulu, Filipe Rayasi, Simon Malaeulu and Phil Gibb.
Dan will continue into his 4th year with the Premier team returning as the Assistant and coach of the Forwards. Dan is well known in the club for his positive manner and dedication towards the team. He has proven to be a hardworking and committed coach who has been an integral part of the teams recent success.
Filipe returns to the club where he has previously played and worked as the RDO, and will take on an Assistants and Skills coach role. Filipe brings a wealth of experience to the team as a previous test player for Fiji and Wellington Representative Coach.
After clocking up his 200th premier game last season, Simon will share his knowledge leading the scrum and mentoring the front row. Simon will still continue to pull on the boots and contribute his experience on the field.
Gibbo will re-join the club as a Resource Coach and Analyst, after leading the resurgent Paramata-Plimmerton Premiers last season. Phil is a seasoned campaigner, previously coaching successful years at HOBM and winning a Jubilee Cup, and will bring invaluable knowledge to the coaching group.
